Shelly was a guest on Ralph Vincent's debut Underground Comedy Show discussing the impact of the Internet on the underground comedy industry.

She was also thrilled to be interviewed on The Dre' Parker Show This energetic comedian's guests have included Last Comic Standing icons!

Shelly's an advocate of the power of collaborating and has connected with creative people all over the world! She's also been heard on:

Idiotboxradio, a podcast from Australia where the co-host commented, "She has a nice American voice that has the tone of sounding funny even if she doesn't say anything funny."

IT Radio in St. Paul (the evil Twin City of Minneapolis, where Shelly was born and raised) broadcasts her comedy...and wants to have her babies.

Small world, because Gary Holdsteady (also in the Twin Cities) heard Shelly on IT and included her comedy audio clip on his podcast.

Despite the fact Shelly's an annoyingly cheerful person, she's been featured on the Pissed Off World Of Uncle Hal.

After sending some mp3 files and offering to bring more comedic talent to the station, Shelly is Comedy Director for Red Brick Cabaret, BZoO HomeGrown radio's virtual comedy club. She's also "hot babe" hostess of Shelly Ryan Late Nite.

None...YET! However Shelly will make her acting debut in the role of the Narrator/Sportscaster in a feature film for which she's written the script. It's a wickedly hilarious romp back to Medieval times, but with a modern twist or two along the journey! Filming begins Late Summer 2007!! My MP3 player has an eclectic mix of tunes from Latin to Progressive Rock and a little bit of everything else! The music I listen to depends on my mood. Shelly Ryan's Bio:



Shelly took a comedy sketch writing class through SketchWorks where two of her pieces were performed in a showcase with the advanced acting class. She also co-wrote an updated version of the Nativity that appeared as the closing act in the mainstage performance of "A Very Sketchy Christmas."

After graduating from Joe Morrison's stand-up class at Funny Farm University, she's addicted. She's appeared at Funny Farm, Showcase Comedy Lounge and Relapse Theatre.

Her closest brush with fame was being a contestant in Nickelodeon Network's "Nick at Nite Funniest Mom Contest." WARNING: She's not your average suburban mom! Her mid-size sports utility vehicle transports her to ordinary places. Shelly's mind goes places it often shouldn't...but always has a fun time while it's there! Her comedy is a carpool experience you WON'T want to miss!!
