Dylan Lloyd; A 21 year old singer/songwriter that you have got to see and hear. Born on the south side of Chicago in the Chicago Lawn/Englewood area, he is a self-taught musician that is an accomplished pianist, guitarist, bassist, and drummer. There is simply one word to describe one of the top musicians in Chicago...original. When you hear his music, it beckons you to listen to
his beautifully crafted melodies and his powerfully written lyrics. Dylan Lloyd is one of the most promising young artists today.
The music that he creates attracts people from all walks of life. Lloyd's musical influences are Michael Jackson, Ben Folds, Prince, Thelonious Monk, and Dave Grohl (to name a few). At the age of 15, he became the lead vocalist and piano player of a very popular local band on the south side of Chicago known as "Pangea", from the year 2002 to 2005. One of their last and most notable performances was at the Rave in Milwaukee, Wisconsin opening up for critically acclaimed band "MEDESKI, MARTIN, AND WOOD" in November of 2004.
By early spring of 2005, Pangea had disbanded; from that point on Dylan Lloyd has been pursuing a solo music career. He has performed at the "North Halsted Market Day Festival" in Chicago (one of the largest outdoor festivals in the nation) in August of 2006 and 2007. He has also performed at Millennium Park in the "Great Performers of Illinois" sponsored by the city of Chicago and Richard M. Daley in September of 2006. Dylan Lloyd has also made numerous radio appearances. His music has been on 93.1 WXRT FM, 93.9 the LITE FM, and 88.3 WXAV FM radio (all three are Chicago radio stations) as well as numerous online radio stations.
In the fall of 2007, Dylan Lloyd and one of his two current bands "Loose Change", recorded with Grammy award nominee and producer of "STYX", Gary Loizzo. The most notable songs that Lloyd and Loose Change recorded with Loizzo were "ALL I WANNA DO", "THE RIDE", and "VISIBLE". Lloyd's single "ALL I WANNA DO" will be promoted by WINDY CITY RECORDS (an independent Chicago record label) on their seasonal compilation album in the winter of 2009. He is currently working on his first full length solo album with producers Jonah Kort (current drummer of "STATE AND MADISON") of ALBANY STUDIOS and Ron Prince (former guitarist of "THE KINSEY REPORT") of RON PRINCE STUDIOS in Chicago. "Music is life that lives forever. If the only thing that I can do in this world is take one person out of a daily cycle of misery, heartache, anxiety, frustration, and any other drama that goes along with our life...for just a few minutes...then I truly will feel like I am doing the best that I possibly can to help bring joy to people's lives." - Dylan Lloyd

Today the music played. Wow how did you get so good so fast...doesn't matter so much as you have arrived. The ride is a first class ride. Great smooth tune. You are you but there is some Marvin there in your delivery. The next generation might say Marvin who...but then you are new enough to be you. Fantastic voice.

Congratulations for having your song played on WXRT's Local Anesthetic! That is one of the last truly great radio stations in this country and to be featured is quite an honor!!
Dude, did you post your SnoCap player? I am not seeing it. Can you? I have been dying for someone to post one. If it is okay I would love to look at the source code for the application, but I won't go into your account without permission.
