"A great blend of Boz Scaggs, Michael McDonald, and Toto..." - Richard Milne - WXRT 93.1 FM CHICAGO RADIO
Dylan Lloyd's music career officially began at the age of 15; he was the lead vocalist and piano player of a very popular local band on the south side of Chicago known as PANGEA from the year 2002 to 2005. One of their last and most notable performances was at the Rave in Milwaukee, Wisconsin opening up for critically acclaimed band MEDESKI, MARTIN, AND WOOD in November of 2004.
By early spring of 2005, Pangea had disbanded; from that point on Dylan Lloyd has been pursuing a solo music career in Chicago and other Midwest areas at an incredibly successful pace. Two of his best performances have been at Millennium Park in the "Great Performers of Illinois" sponsored by the city of Chicago and Richard M. Daley, and at the "North Halsted Market Day Festival" in Chicago (the largest outdoor festival in the Midwest).
Various media outlets have been supporting Dylan Lloyd ever since his recent EP "THE TRINITY" was released on iTunes. NBC 5: CHICAGO, the RED EYE newspaper, FEEDBACK MAGAZINE, and other media outlets have all featured Lloyd and given his current album critical acclaim.
Lloyd has also made numerous radio appearances since becoming a solo artist. His music has been on nationally acclaimed Chicago radio station 93.1FM WXRT, as well as other Chicago area radio stations and online radio stations.
In the fall of 2007, Dylan Lloyd and his previous band LOOSE CHANGE recorded with Grammy award nominee and producer of STYX Gary Loizzo. The most notable songs that Lloyd had written for the band and recorded with Loizzo were "ALL I WANNA DO", "THE RIDE", and "VISIBLE"; these three recordings would be the early incarnation of "THE TRINITY - EP".
Lloyd and his single "ALL I WANNA DO" will be headlined and promoted by WINDY CITY RECORDS (an independent Chicago record label) on one of their seasonal compilation albums in 2009. He is currently the front-man of a new four-piece band he has formed known as THE DYLAN LLOYD PROJECT.
His highly anticipated sophomore release will be on iTunes in the Fall/Winter of 2009. The title of Dylan Lloyd's new album will be "SAY ANYTHING".
"Music is life that lives forever. If the only thing that I can do in this world is take one person out of a daily cycle of misery, heartache, anxiety, frustration, and any other drama that goes along with our life...for just a few minutes...then I truly will feel like I am doing the best that I possibly can to help bring joy to people's lives." - Dylan Lloyd

Dylan sent me his EP, The Trinity EP for review, and I must state that I am incredibly sad that there is but 3 songs to this release. Honestly, this EP has me literally begging for more. I imagine anyone who listens will want more Dylan Lloyd.
This is musical nirvana. To find a flaw in this is to say the Mona Lisa should be smiling more...... (to read more go to)
I am just about finished -- is it only three songs? That is all I received hon. If it is, you are going to be amazed at the review. I do love the songs!!
I did. I went back to England, my father passed on. So I am now just getting into the swing of things. I see you made Mike's podcast! Your music is very good and very polished.
Today the music played. Wow how did you get so good so fast...doesn't matter so much as you have arrived. The ride is a first class ride. Great smooth tune. You are you but there is some Marvin there in your delivery. The next generation might say Marvin who...but then you are new enough to be you. Fantastic voice.
Dylan i couldnt get your music to play but your writeups are fantastic...i will be back because now i m real curious by what i read you must be a talent and i like discovering a new listening experience. I got it you are good and i will be back soon to hear some of your magic talent.
