L'histoire d'Incendiary Bombs
In early 2007, Tom Donnelly and Roger Damen said to Jack Ellis, "would you like to start a band?" Jack Ellis said, "OK." Tom Donnelly named the band 'Incendiary Bombs' and thus they were once again a clique. Roger Damen already had some songs that he'd written for his greedy self; notably 'The Haunting' and 'Look At What We Have'. Subsequently, demo versions of these canticles' were recorded in Jack Ellis' bedroom using Jack Ellis' moderately expensive recording equipment: drum machine computer software; two slipshod Squier Stratocaster guitars and a baby blue Fender Precision Bass. The aforementioned psalms of glory, and a new song (that to this day remains untitled) were practiced and very-nearly perfected with Tom Donnelly's talent as a respectable bard coming to the fore as he slipped comfortably into the role of chief lyricist.
Then, one day, guitar-toting member Jack Ellis wrote the bare-boned music for 'Atlas'. Roger Damen and Tom Donnelly helped to finish the song off appropriately and applied meat to the bone with lush six and four string textures respectively. Tom Donnelly wrote some lyrics for Roger Damen and Jack Ellis to sing.
Then they played on Pro Evo, ate some luxury barbequed meats (Jack Ellis had vegetarian equivalents: Quorn Minted Lamb Style steaks to be precise) and sniffed the bed.
