Influences: Some of the bands we soak up, in no particular order:
the Smiths, Oasis, New Order, Rilo Kiley, RIDE, the Cure, the Pixies, My Bloody Valentine, Radiohead, Sigur Ros, Smashing Pumpkins, Cocteau Twins, Depeche Mode, the Stone Roses, Snow Patrol, Joy Division, the Jesus and Mary Chain, Interpol, Mogwai, Arcade Fire, Travis, the Postal Service, the White Stripes, Kraftwerk, Blur
Everything Gone Green was born in early 2006 when former Foxtail Somersault bassist, Ken Lee, embarked on a solo project. With influences ranging from New Order to Oasis to My Bloody Valentine, Ken realized that only a collaborative band could craft the sounds that he envisioned.
Childhood friends Manny (bass guitar) and Andrew (former drummer) were recruited to fill the rhythm section while a search for a vocalist began. While Andrew left the band, the vocalist search was completed with the addition of New Hampshire native Alicia. Together, the members of Everything Gone Green blend the likes of their influences to bring you a dancy-pop-rock-dream soundscape.
EGG is now playing shows around the San Francisco Bay Area while composing new songs for an upcoming full length album.
