How do you feel at the end of the day
are you pleased with the world you have made
are you pleased with the reflection in the mirror
or is it just a reflection of your greed that you see
so you sold the world
made someone cry
told a lie
made a buck
stole your crown
didnt even cost you a frown
when the road to the top
is paved with the hopes of those you saccrifised
when the seat of your throne
is built on the back of somebody elses dreams
how will you ever know
if the hand reaching out toward you
is the hand of friendship
or a fist to nock you down
how dose it feel
to live a life looking over your shoulder
just to make sure
the man comeing up behind you
isnt a man comeing to steel your crown
if you swim with sharks
there is always someone else with bigger teeth
