DATE: 11 Apr 2007, 10:43 am / MOOD: Can't Find My Way Home
As some of you may know, and for those of you who do not, The Redwalls have officially parted ways with Capitol Records. We look back fondly at the times, people and experiences that we shared with our former label. But as the industry continues to change more and more we walk away and step out into a new world with a little more wisdom and a much stronger sense of who we are now, and where we want to go. By a truly honorable act on the behalf of our former label, the record which we wrote in the early months of 2006 and recorded in 42 days in a small town in Sweden, is now solely in the possession of the band (If you don't understand the significance of this than you'll have to trust us). A record is a statement that stands permanent, it is the culmination of where a bands been and where they are at. To have it see the light of day means the world to us.
Where there is an end there is a beginning. We optimistically embrace this new start and feel that we are on the up and up. Look forward to the new record and to an EP that will precede it, as we look forward to sharing it with all of you.
Much Love,
Redwalls Logan and Justin
