Kabong:
Duncan Macfarlane: lead vox/rhythm guitar
Jack Locker: rhythm guitar/vox
Blake Price: lead guitar/rhythm guitar/vox
Joey Oddo: bass guitar
Ty Dennis: drums
Kabong has a hard rock sound with good vocals, tasty guitars, and a solid back-beat. The music is about life's struggles, socially relevant issues, and saving world species. What makes it fun is the dynamic mix of musical personalities and when they tear it up. Like their namesake, famous cartoon guitar hero El Kabong, Kabong hits the listener over the head with guitars to try and raise awareness about waging peace, promoting conservation, and habitat preservation. We have a new CD coming out called Shredders of the People to wake people up! We will also be re-releasing our CD from last year called Escape the Insanity with our new line up now featuring Duncan Macfarlane on lead vocals and the monster drumming of Ty Dennis.
The non profit Wild Bear Big Cat World Wildlife Preservation Society was created last year by Jack to help protect the wild areas these animals need to survive as well as to save all the other world species in danger of extinction because of careless human mismanagement.
The song GWCC Dance is a voice from the perspective of the 1 million species facing extinction because of global warming climate change. Blake is singing lead on this one and D is singing backing vox.
