We're currently being featured as the artist of the month for 6ABC's Philly local music show "Tuned In". You can see our segment here:

"The group has formed a genre of its own, we're calling it Americana BritPop. Don't be surprised if this five-piece ends up influencing others in the future, because frankly, they're really, really good."
~ On Tap Magazine

"[Canadian Invasion] possess British-pop sensibilities mixed with guitar-driven American rock that can leave you happily humming the tunes."
~ Washington Post

"a gently rocking landscape of sublimely catchy choruses"
~ Philadelphia City Paper

"...a heady early-/mid-'90s rock sensibility...enough to make you wonder why you haven't put the Lemonheads in your CD player in so long..."
~ Philadelphia Weekly

"Melodic and multi-layered, with rich harmonies and full production"
"Offers lush three minute utopias."
~ WAMU Radio "Metro Connection" (NPR)

Canadian Invasion possess what The Washington Post calls "British-pop sensibilities mixed with guitar-driven American rock that can leave you happily humming the tunes." In 2003, On Tap magazine said their Blame The Robots EP was "one of the best recordings (of the) year...a collection of melodic songs that seamlessly shift from catchy Brit-pop to ambient indie rock" Blame The Robots is nationally distributed by Aware, where it peaked at number 4 after weeks on the "Hot Sellers" chart.

In March 2006 CI released the full-length follow-up, Songs for the Atco Ghost. The LP was recorded and produced by Stewart Myers (Jonathan Rice, Jason Mraz) and mastered by Fred Kevorkian (White Stripes, Ryan Adams) at Avatar Studios in New York City. A chronicle of suburban neurosis, SFTAG wraps the stories of familiar characters that we may know (or we may be) around well-crafted and textured pop songs.

CI has spent much of early 2006 on the road, supporting acts like The High Dials and Mellowdrone. They are featured in Magnet Magazine's June/July CD sampler and can be heard next in CMJ's "On Air" compilation for October 2006 and Shut Eye Records' Buzzlighter Vol.12 college radio compilation.
